On November 20, 2025, Mr. Narong Boonsatheanwong, Director-General of the Thailand Trade and Economic Office, Taipei, together with Mr. Tzu-Hsiang Ko, President of Lunghwa University of Science and Technology (LHU), officially inaugurated the first “Thailand Corner” in Taiwan. This was established within the LHU Library to serve as a resource center for learning about Thailand.

The opening of the Thailand Corner was part of a broader set of volunteer activities led by the Director-General, who was accompanied by officials and staff from Team Thailand in Taiwan. These activities, which included public service and charitable works, were held at the aforementioned university library to commemorate two significant royal occasions: the 100th anniversary of the passing of His Majesty King Vajiravudh (Rama VI) and the 100th anniversary of the birth of Her Royal Highness Princess Bejaratana Rajasuda.

Since 2022, the Thailand Foundation has supported the establishment of 17 Thailand Corners in various educational institutions, Buddhist temples, and libraries in Morocco, the United States, Germany, Norway, India, Japan, and China.
