The Fifth Expatriate Orientation Program (EOP5)

 

On 6-7 November 2024, the Thailand Foundation hosted the Fifth Expatriate Orientation Program (EOP 5) to serve a quick manual for foreign diplomats and expats living in Thailand to ensure their success and happiness during their stay.

 

👥 An exclusive gathering of nearly 70 distinguished guests, including ambassadors, their spouses, diplomats, and key representatives from government agencies, joined us for these special sessions. This year, we were honored to welcome several attendees who traveled from across the globe, adding an exciting international dynamic to our event.

 

On the two-day program, there are 8 sessions including:

(1) Prism of Thainess: Approaching Thai Society from the Perspective of Thai Values;
(2) Introduction to Thai History;
(3) Hidden Bangkok;
(4) Discover the Four Regions of Thailand by Rails;
(5) Thai Economy: Thriving in Global Uncertainties;
(6) Appreciating Arts Around You in Thailand;
(7) Buddhism in the Mindset and the Ways of Life of the Thai People;
(8) Finding Your Lifestyles in Thailand

 

Big gratitude to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for providing us with the venue and all of our speakers who dedicated their time to provide us essential overviews of Thailand in many perspectives. Importantly, thank you to everyone who joined us to make the event joyful and memorable.
