Press Conference: The Recipients of Thailand’s Public Diplomacy Award 2024 (TPDA2024)

On 19 September 2024, the Thailand Foundation and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced the recipients of Thailand’s Public Diplomacy Award 2024 (TPDA2024).

Mr. Nikorndej Balankura, Director-General of the Department of Information and and Mr. Tharit Charungvat, Secretary-General of the Thailand Foundation jointly announced that on 17 September 2024, the Board of the Thailand Foundation had made the decision to present Thailand’s Public Diplomacy Award 2024 (TPDA2024) to the Venerable Phra Phrompacharayanmuni (Ajahn Jayasaro), Mr. Somtow Sucharitkul, and The Siam Society under Royal Patronage, making a total of three awards, in recognition of their outstanding contributions and achievements.

The Thailand Foundation and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will announce the time and details of the TPDA2024 Award Presentation Ceremony at a later date.
