The Fifth Expatriate Orientation Program (EOP 5)

 

The Thailand Foundation has the honour to inform the latter that we will organise the Fifth Expatriate Orientation Program (EOP5) on 6-7 November 2024 at Vithes Samosorn Hall, Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

 

The sessions in the EOP5 are updated versions from previous EOPs. It will cover essential overviews on Thai values, culture, history, arts, economy, Buddhism, as well as lifestyles in Thailand. It will be conducted in English by prominent speakers who are experts in the selected fields. The sessions of the EOP5 and speakers are as follows:

  2. Introduction to Thai History by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bhawan Ruangsilp
  3. Hidden Bangkok by Mr. Philip Cornwel-Smith
  4. Discover the Four Regions of Thailand by Rails by Mr. Richard Barrow
  5. Thai Economy: Thriving in Global Uncertainties by Dr. Kirida Bhaopichitr
  6. Appreciating Arts Around You in Thailand by Asst. Prof. Dr. Anucha Thirakanont
  7. Buddhism in the Mindset and the Ways of Life of the Thai People by Dr. Phibul Choompolpaisal
  8. Finding Your Lifestyles in Thailand by Mr. Daniel Fraser
