Bamboos are commonly found in all regions of Thailand. Since ancient time, this plant has been used to make many essential households items. Over the time, the craft of bamboo basketry has evolved from the creation of functional tools to also include stunning aesthetics components as well as artistic expressions. This use of natural materials to create fine works of art reflects the soul of Thai craftsmanship, which rests on the understanding and respect for nature.
